Fashion and environmental protection can actually coexist. Timberland SS2020 uses sustainable and innovative materials to create new fashionable tooling.
In the new season, Timberland continues to echo the Nature Needs Heroes program, as always, it is committed to protecting the environment, and gradually adopts more recycled, organic and renewable materials in product design, leading the world into a greener future. In the spring and summer of 2020, Timberland recreates the brand's classics, and continues to echo the planning concept of Nature Needs Heroes, mixing street styles with sustainable materials to recreate trend-setting fashion tooling.
Well-known actor Yang Youning has always loved nature, which coincides with the planning concept of Nature Needs Heroes. You-Ning Yang has always been committed to arousing everyone's attention to environmental protection. He has voluntarily participated in the personal environmental protection project "Birthday Project", hoping to use recycled and degradable materials to package houseplants to remind everyone of the importance of nature in daily life. He also participated in Timberland's afforestation program in China's Horqin Desert, planting saplings by hand with the help of the Japanese non-profit Green Network, hoping to reduce the impact of sandstorms.
This collection is made with organic cotton without chemical or pesticide ingredients and Timberland's patented ReBOTLTM lining (made from at least 50% recycled plastic bottles), hoping to use these innovative sustainable materials to reduce damage to the environment. Key items include the Mount Tecumseh Worker jacket made of 85% ReBOTLTM material and 15% organic cotton. The flexible sleeve design allows the wearer to move freely, and the details are also added with reflective piping and other tooling elements.
